INTERCOLOR – non-profit organisation founded in Paris in 1963 – is a platform for the research and development of colour, which consists of an interdisciplinary group of colour specialists from the fashion industry.
ANIVEC/ APIV is the exclusive representative for Portugal in this prestigious organism that produces and presents, 2 years in advance, a proposal for a general range of colours for the Textile and Clothing Industry.
MODATEX was named the executing entity and, as such, develops the Portuguese proposal and represents the ANIVEC/APIV in the INTERCOLOR meetings – International Commission for Colour.
INTERCOLOR results from the concerted proposals of all member countries and is supported by a prospective analysis of the macro contexts and of each country, of the values, lifestyles and environments transversal to the different realities and markets.
INTERCOLOR Committee currently includes 17 countries namely China, Finland, France, Germany, England, Hungary, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Denmark and Indonesia.
