Erasmus+ Mobility Application Form KA1 - TRAINEES

 

Enrol on a MODATEX course to be eligible for ERASMUS+ mobility.

MODATEX is an accredited organisation in Key Action 1 - Individual Mobility for Learning Purposes - Project No. 2020-1-PT01-KA120-VET-094916 - for 2021-2027.

What is the Erasmus+ Programme?

  • It is a European programme which fosters education, training, youth and sport
  • One of its components fosters learning experiences in another country

The approved MODATEX project has strategic objectives in specific training areas, established by a diagnosis. Trainees and trainers were consulted and the needs of MODATEX and the country in general regarding the Textile, Clothing and Fashion sector were taken into account.

We will make the most of what partners from other countries have to offer as a way of enriching our portfolio of skills.

 

Recipients:

  • MODATEX’s Trainees or newly-qualified students (completion of course ≤ 1 year)
    • Learning Courses (CA)
    • Technological Specialisation Courses (CET)
    • Certified Modular Training Courses (FMC)
  • Trainers

 

Preferred Professional Areas for Erasmus+ exchanges: 

  • Fashion Design
  • Textile Design
  • Modelling
  • Tailoring
  • Textile production (sustainability in the technical areas of Jacquard fabrics, digital printing, 3D knitwear and textile ennoblement) 
  • Digital Marketing and E-Commerce

Other areas will also be accepted, subject to review.

 

Exchange duration for trainees and recently certified trainees:

  •  Short durantion - around 50 days – longer in some specific cases
  •  ErasmusPro - 90 to 365 days 

Exchange duration for trainers - 7 days

 

Training location for trainees, newly certified students and trainers:

  •  France, Italy, Spain and Germany (preferably)
  •  Textile and Clothing Companies

 

Funding: 

  • Travel expenses (way out and return)
  • Individual living allowance (food, accommodation, local transport)
  • Linguistic help (access to learning material)
  • Logistical support from MODATEX (hosts, pedagogical support throughout the exchange period, other)
  • Financial assistance table for:  Trainees  /  Trainers

 

Criteria selection for trainees, newly certified students and trainers:

  • Participants with fewer opportunities
  • Motivation
  • Personal and professional development needs in line with plan objectives

 

Other:

  • Whenever possible, trainees or newly qualified students will be placed at the same place in pairs
  • The experiences obtained during the training are shared in the MODATEX community
