The textile and clothing sector is one of the most important economic areas in the European Union, offering innovative and high-quality products.
The need for the industry to keep up with the various and constant needs of the market, combined with the ageing and the reduction of its human resources, translates into a need to improve the qualifications of its workers and attract new talent to the sector.
Areas such as innovation, management and internationalisation are priorities, as shown in the TECLO programme. In the area of Vocational Education and Training, the creation of new tools and the adoption of more flexible and effective methodologies are essential to bring VET and the labour market closer together (www.s4tclfblueprint.eu).
The FACTIVE Project (Flipped classroom training Approach for Clothing and Textile Innovative VET Education) aims to address those needs with the following objectives:

The project starts with an analysis of companies’ needs regarding non-technological innovation and internationalisation skills to build a TECLO MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) with new contents and to develop a "Flipped Classroom" methodology to be later applied by VET trainers of the textile and clothing sector.

FACTIVE is a project funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme, which started in November 2020 and is due to end in 2023 (30 months).
